ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Dr. Leah Hollon holds a BS in Psychology and an MPH from Virginia Commonwealth University. She completed her ND degree and residency training at the National University of Natural Medicine in Portland, Oregon.
She has instructed at the Appalachian College of Pharmacy and currently teaches at the University of Cincinnati and the University of Buffalo, focusing on integrative medicine, nutrigenomics, and pharmacogenomics. Her work has been published in the fields of alternative medicine, nutrigenomics, and the gut microbiome.
Dr. Hollon is an international speaker who shares her expertise in epigenetics and intergenerational trauma. She is also the founder and co-owner of Richmond Natural Medicine, where she regularly sees patients and serves as the residency site coordinator for the first accredited naturopathic residency in Virginia.
Dr. Hollon is passionate about reminding people that healing is possible. She has supported patients through some of their most vulnerable times, including stage IV cancer, autoimmune illness, and rare diseases.
She also cares deeply about lineage transformation—within her patients, her community, and society as a whole. In her spare time, she enjoys gardening, dancing, camping, traveling, and spending time by the ocean.
